Q: Does your eMPower hair system get hot as children are very active and their heads sweat?
A: No, in fact we engineered all of our eMPower hair systems to breathe and sweat like your own skin.

Q. What are the biggest issues regarding children and hair systems?
A. There are a few. First, younger children can get bored or will “play” with the system (trying to dislodge it, pull it off, or even damage it). Children also because of their energy levels put higher physical demands on a hair system than adults, engaging in more “rough and tumble play.” Friends may get curious and try to pull off the hair system. Children’s heads also grow fast, so a new hair system may be required every year.

Q. Can a child really run and sleep and shower with an eMPower Hair Replacement System?
A. Yes. Provided they follow our maintenance guidance, children can do most things such as sleep, swim, run, and play within normal tolerances. eMPower ’s products are made to eMPower lives.

Q. Can a child take their hair system off when needed or is it semi-permanent?
A. We can arrange various types/methods of attachment that suit a child. Thus, your child’s eMPower Hair System can be taken off when they like. But, it is best to have it on a semi-permanent basis to avoid tearing and accidental damage.

Q. Can you style your hair systems?
A. Yes. You can comb back, gel, mousse, and even pig-tail your child’s hair.

Q. Are your products and services warranted?

Q. Are your products hypo-allergenic?
A. Yes. Our products rarely cause allergic reactions, and clients are always given an allergy test before ordering, .

Q. Do you have a payment plan?
A. Yes, we can arrange a no interest payment plan, provided the minimal deposit is met.

Q. Will your hair system stop my child’s natural hair from coming back?
A. No, not at all. Our hair systems are designed to let your own hair follicles and scalp breathe, and can accommodate up to 1/4 inch of hair growth underneath.

Q. Can we have a private consultation?
A. Of course, our consultations are always private, are about us answering your questions, and always are free.

Q. Is your treatment for boys and girls?
A. eMPower ’s innovation and desire to change lives is oriented towards both boys and girls.

Q. What is maintenance like?
A. On average it requires a “re-groom” (where we replace the adhesives, clean the system, trim their own hair if needed) about every 2-3 weeks. This can be done in our salon (just like going to a regular salon) or you can be trained to do it for your child at home (self-maintenance).

Q. Do you deal with all skin and hair colors?
A. eMPower from day 1 developed its hair replacement systems for every skin color (ethnicity), hair type (Black, Asian, Mediterranean, Caucasian), hair color and hair length.
