Q). How long does it take in terms of session time and how many sessions are needed?
A). A hair transplant session usually lasts no morethan 4 hours. How many sessions you require depends on your goals and how much area needs transplanting.
Q). Where does the transplant hair come from?
A). A thin band of hair (called the donor hair) is removed from the back of your head above the neck where any incision cannot be seen. The hair here usually never falls out (so when transplanted will not succumb to genetic alopecia in later years).
Q). Do I need to be anaesthetised and be put asleep during the process?
A). You are only given a local anaesthetic so will be awake the whole period.
Q). How long is complete recovery time from the procedure?
A). About 24 hours and you will be completely recovered.
Q). How long will it take for the transplanted hair to grow and to see full results?
A). Everyone is different, but usually about 3-4 months and you will see the new hair growing.

Q). What is a front-hair system hybrid transplant?
A). This is where hair is heavily transplanted in the front of the head and then having a hair system being used for the rest of the scalp (the back). Some clients prefer this as they like having their real hair for the front hairline and then seamlessly having a hair system for the posterior/back part of the head.
Q). Do hair transplants look “pluggy.”
